If you’re just starting your dog on BioAktiv cq Animal Line formula 1, it’s important to note the difference between our ‘loading’ and ‘maintenance’ doses.
The Loading Dose – double the regular dose, taken for the first 4 weeks only
The Maintenance Dose – the regular dose, which is continued after dropping from the loading dose.
Studies into our supplement have indicated that doubling the maintenance dose for the first 4 weeks has a big difference on how quickly dogs show improvement. BioAktiv for dogs is designed to support your dog’s body from the inside out — using safe, bioenergetic principles that may help with common problems like Joint Pain & Mobility, Gut & Digestion, Stress & Anxiety, Fleas & Skin Irritation. Because we want your dog to enjoy less discomfort and mobility as soon as possible, we recommend that all new dog users follow our loading dosage guidelines.
Results are typically noticed at the end of this 4-week loading dose.
Dosage Guidelines by Weight
All containers of BioAktiv Animal Line for come with a teaspoon, which equates to 1 level teaspoon equal 5mg.
Your dog’s daily dosage is calculated by their weight. We have a table to the right which outlines their weight and dosage breakdown, otherwise you can follow our guide below.
Small Dogs (Up to 15kg) – 3gms daily on loading dose, then 1gm daily on maintenance dose
Medium Dogs (15 – 30kg) – 4gms daily on loading dose, then 2 gms daily on maintenance dose
Large Dogs (30kg+) – 5 gms daily on loading dose, then 3 gms daily on maintenance dose
How to Administer Your Powder
BioAktiv Animal Line can be easily mixed in with your dog’s regular food.
It’s important to note that our powder is heat-sensitive, so avoid mixing it with anything hot as this will lessen the health benefits. BioAktiv Animal line is best mixed in with food that is room temperature or cooler.
If your dog eats twice a day, you can split your dog’s recommended daily dose between their morning and evening meal.
If needed, a teaspoon or two of water can help the powder to blend.
Small Dogs Weighing Less than 7.5kg
For miniature breeds less than 7.5kg, we recommend halving our lowest dose. This equates to 1.5gm daily for the loading dose, and then half a scoop (1/2gm) daily, ongoing.
BioAktiv Animal line is 100% natural, meaning you can feel safe testing your dog’s tolerance levels. Any excess powder will be naturally excreted in their waste – a slight creamie tinge can indicate surplus powder exiting their body.

Tips for Fussy Eaters & Sensitive Stomachs
If you know your dog is a fussy eater or has a sensitive stomach, we recommend introducing BioAktiv Animal Line gradually. The best place to start is with a pinch of powder added to their regular food, and then gradually increasing the dosage once tolerance has been established.
Keep increasing their daily dose until you reach the loading dose. Continue the loading dose for the recommended 4 weeks, and then drop your dog back to their maintenance dose.
For particularly fussy eaters, we recommend mixing Rose-Hip Vital into your dog’s favourite foods to sweeten the deal. Popular choices are mince, sardines, raw eggs or yoghurt – just remember to avoid anything hot, as this will undermine the effectiveness of your powder.

Deciding on the Best Dosage
Always start your dog on our recommended loading dose. Our loading dose is a Kickstarter to our programme, and means you see the benefits of this powerhouse powder much sooner. BioAktiv cq animal line is a wholly natural product, with no known side effects or contraindications, so there’s no risk of ‘overdosing’ your dog with too much product.
Check out this handy table on our website, however, as a quick guide: dogs 15kgs and over should be on our middle loading dose of 4gms a day. Dogs 30kgs and over should be on a loading dose of 6 grams a day.
HOT TIP: If your dog tips the scales at the higher end of their weight bracket, it doesn’t hurt to start them on the higher dose. Remember, they’re at no risk of overdose and you can always scale them back.
Incorporating BioAktiv cq animal line Alongside Other Medications or Supplements
If you’re hoping to introduce BioAktiv Animal line to use alongside an existing supplement or medication, or perhaps to replace one, it’s always best to do so gradually. We recommend using both products for a four-week period, and then assessing how your dog has responded. If you wish, slowly wean them off the original product after four weeks. BioAktiv cq animal line is perfectly safe to use alongside other medications, with no known side effects or contraindications.
Avoid Mixing with Hot Food & Liquids
Research has shown that mixing your BioAktiv cq animal line powder with hot food or hot liquid will undermine the effectiveness of the powder. Try to always mix your supplement with something cool to obtain the maximum benefit. Freezing your powder is perfectly safe, just allow it to thaw naturally.
For Your Fussy Eater
For fussy eaters, we recommend slowly introducing BioAktiv cq animal line into their diet, as little as a pinch or two with their food every day. You can mix our powders with anything cool, so perhaps enticing them with some cooled gravy, an egg or even mince (with BioAktiv cq animal line carefully mixed in!) might be a good way to introduce them to the taste. Remember to avoid hot food or liquid.
For a fussy eater, your loading dose won’t begin until you’ve worked them up to the full recommended daily dose.
For a Sensitive Stomach
While most dogs have no problem whoofing down their food mixed with a daily dose of BioAktiv cq animal line, occasionally we hear of dogs who have a low tolerance or a sensitive stomach. In this instance, slowly introduce our powder with just one or two pinches a day added to their usual meal, to gradually build up their tolerance. When you have reached their daily recommended dose, start counting their loading dose and consider this the start of the programme.
For Dogs with Severe or Advanced Conditions
If you don’t see a change after the loading dose, or you’re only just starting to notice an improvement at the end of the four week period, it’s perfectly safe to continue with the loading dose for another few weeks before you reassess. For Larger Breeds Over 30kgs
Generally, larger breed dogs will see great results on the highest dose, but just in case you notice a slip backwards after dropping down to the maintenance dose, you can always keep your larger-breed dog on the loading dose indefinitely.
For Smaller Breeds Under 7.5kgs
If you have a tiny best friend, it’s important to remember that you can’t overdose your dog on BioAktiv animal line, so don’t be afraid to start them on our lowest recommended dose. If you feel like this is still too much, or you’re noticing excess powder in their excretions, we would recommend a loading dose of 1gram a day for the first 4 weeks, followed by a maintenance dose of ½ gm a day ongoing.
